Normal terms and conditions of rental apply at all times.

All quoted rates include VAT, 24 hour breakdown/recovery service and insurance, and are subject to availability. An insurance excess of £1000.00 applies on all rentals. This may be reduced to £250.00 excess by purchasing Collision Damage Waiver at a cost of £10.00 per day for car groups A & B or £10.00 per day or part day for all other vehicles.

Our insurance does not cover theft of property from within the vehicle, so vehicles should be parked in appropriate locations with the doors and windows locked, and any valuables should be out of sight. Our insurance also does not cover the driver’s personal injury or loss of life.

Our Collision Damage Waiver does not cover lost or damaged keys, the cost of any damage or loss remaining the responsibility of the hirer. The hirer shall also be responsible for damage to the interior of the vehicle or recovery costs from an off road location following a road traffic accident when no other vehicle is involved.

In all instances, the hirer will remain responsible for damage to the roof or upper part of the vehicle caused by trees, bridges, height warning markers and car park ceilings. The hirer will also be responsible for rectification costs if the wrong fuel type has been used.

Punctures/Damaged Tyres

Any damaged tyre must be replaced as soon as possible. Some cars are supplied with space saver spare wheel or a tyre inflation kit. Please abide by the speed restrictions stated on these items if you have to use either one.

Insurance cover is for mainland UK only unless clearance is granted prior to commencement of the rental. When such clearance is granted, the hirer must purchase additional breakdown cover, the cost of which will be quoted at the time the reservation is confirmed. It is the driver’s responsibility to make themselves aware of the driving requirements (such as breakdown packs, breathalyser kits, warning triangles etc.) in the country in which they will be driving.

Rate reductions are available for renters providing their own comprehensive insurance cover – please ask for details.
